James and the Giant Heart is a platform game made during the Global Game Jam 2013 (GGJ13) in London at the SAE Institute within 48 hours. The goal of the game is to reach the end of the level by balancing the “fear” for enemies of the main characters, which makes him float upwards, and avoiding the enemies. This makes the game about balancing risk and reward for progress. I was involved in the concept, level design and several graphic elements.
